Materials
Wire mesh pallet containers are designed with a base, side panels and optional components (lid and caster wheels). Common finishes include galvanized, powder-coated, electroplated and hot-dip galvanized finish against corrosion. Following materials are commonly used:
Steel: Common material used for wire mesh containers is carbon steel, galv. or electro plated.
Stainless Steel: Stainless steel wire mesh containers offer superior resistance to rust and corrosion, often used for food processing or pharmaceutical applications.
Galvanized Steel: Galvanized steel wire containers are resistant to corrosion, suitable for outdoor use or in moist environments.
Powder-Coated Steel: Powder-coated steel wire containers are resistant to scratching, chipping, fading, and wear, available in a variety of colors.
Wire Mesh Types: Wire mesh can vary in terms of mesh size, wire diameter, resulting in various visibility, airflow, and security of the mesh containers. Smaller mesh sizes provide better security for smaller items, while larger mesh sizes are suitable for bigger objects and provide better visibility and airflow.
