Assembling the cabinet was straightforward, although flipping it over to attach the wheels was a bit awkward due to its weight. It’s advisable to have a second person help with this step. Once the wheels and handle were attached, the cabinet was easy to maneuver, thanks to its 5 in x 2 in casters. The toe-locking brakes are particularly useful, ensuring that the cabinet stays in place when you’re working.
Security and Additional Features
One of the highlights of this tool cabinet is its security features. The over-mold key and internal locking system provide peace of mind, especially if you have expensive tools. The included drawer liners and top mat are excellent additions, protecting both the drawers and the tools inside from damage. However, it would have been nice if the drawer liners were pre-installed, though cutting them to fit wasn’t a significant inconvenience.
