Pallet Racking Production Process And Quality Control

Sep 21, 2025

Pallet racking, as a crucial tool in logistics warehousing, requires strict adherence to standardized processes in its production to ensure durability and safety. The following explanation focuses on production technology and quality control.

The production process consists of four stages: First, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) raw materials are selected based on load-bearing requirements and melted at 130-200℃ before being injected into molds. Second, precise pressure control using an injection molding machine completes the shaping of the pallet's main structure. Subsequently, reinforcing ribs or steel components are embedded to enhance load-bearing capacity. Finally, edge trimming, polishing, and anti-slip texture processing are performed.

The quality control system includes three levels of testing: Primary inspection focuses on dimensional tolerances and appearance integrity, using a laser scanner to ensure length errors are ≤2mm; secondary testing verifies static load-bearing capacity through simulated loading (standard specifications must withstand 1.5 tons for 24 hours without deformation); tertiary environmental testing covers -25℃ low-temperature brittleness testing and 60℃ high-temperature creep resistance testing. The entire process adheres to the ISO18613 standard.

Standardized production processes combined with a multi-dimensional testing mechanism are core elements ensuring the stability of pallet racking products.
